inner sense

When we focus on everything from the outside in, we lose sense of our inner compass pointing to our unique north.


We need to navigate the inner currents and hidden pathways so we can express, act, create and share from the inner sense, out.


As spring arrives, sap rising, energy ascends and the slumber state shifts to one of awakening and ascension.


Yet we need to turn the volume up on the inner voice, rhythms and currents so we can create a conscious life, rather than being dragged upward in a direction not conducive with our heart desire.


Elevation can feel nourishing but if it’s not the path for us, it will feel depleting, disorienting and dizzy.


We need first to ground, to learn the language of us, so we understand our own movement - on and beyond the mat, in life.


Our hidden pathways are the inner currents subtly nudging us this way and that. Call it intuition, inner voice, centre. Attuning to this centre takes trust and time because we’ve travelled so far from the felt sense.


We’re constantly conditioned on what’s “right, expected, the norm”, that to move outside the box feels impermissible.


Too often it’s simpler to follow the crowd, stay safe, so everything appears neat and orderly upon view - from outside, in.


Yet one degree out from our true north, means a long journey on that particular path will land us in a spot far away from our intention.


That’s why the movement offerings here are intentionally focused on the inner out. We are all of such unique design that if we’re too focused on the outward appearance and expression, we lose our inner sense. And our intuition and felt sense become skewed. It then takes a while to reorient back to the felt sense of self.


So, while the slumber state falls away, take time to ground, to nourish, to breathe, and to be.


And listen in.
